Uutisraivaaja is a media innovation competition established by the Helsingin Sanomat Foundation. The Helsingin Sanomat Foundation as well as Päivälehti Archives and Päivälehti Museum, which are part of the Foundation, maintain registers important to their activities. The personal data in these registers is processed confidentially and in accordance with the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation. This also applies to data related to the Uutisraivaaja competition.
Applications submitted to the Uutisraivaaja competition form a data register. The Foundation processes the personal data in this register in accordance with the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which entered into force on 25 May 2018. Document about the privacy policy for the applications can be found here. Any appendices to your application will be stored on the Google Drive account owned by the Helsingin Sanomat Foundation.
