The Uutisraivaaja blog is written by the winners and finalists of the media innovation contest.
We just went through all our old blog posts and reports we have written for various stakeholders since we started in spring 2017. It was great to recap, see the vision and dreams we had and reflect where we are now. Usually, in the hassle of neverending to-do lists, it is easy to forget where…
It has been quite a ride since the joint win together with Tripsteri. The memory and the excitement of the night is still traveling with us. To be honest, the days leading to the finals were quite nerve-racking and trying to keep our heads cool was not easy. After that experience, everything feels relatively easy to handle.
It is now exactly one year and two weeks since we founded Frameright. We totally missed that special 1-year mark, so no celebrations yet. Back then, getting into the Uutisraivaaja finals was the last push for us to take the leap and make Frameright official. One year has gone by very fast, learning something new every day.
This autumn has been amazing and we are very grateful for the experiences we’ve had so far. The boost we got from winning Uutisraivaaja and the excitement of building something new from scratch has made the past months a rollercoaster ride that we have been enjoying.
Tekes has granted Tempo funding for Coberg Ltd for developing the Frameright publishing technology. The occasion was celebrated by eating a fancy dinner at McDonalds. We also celebrated by practising our baking skills and baked a cake for the people at Microsoft Flux.

We have been working on a lot of things from administrative stuff to visual design and at the same time tried concentrate on developing the product itself. Frameright has offered us a creative and intellectual challenge that is super fun and demanding at the same time. Our lives have been filled with books and articles and podcasts and online lectures about various topics from media publishing to founding and scaling start up companies.
We have had a busy month or so; in fact, it has been so busy we have had little time to celebrate getting through the first stage of the competition!
Frameright has been bubbling under for a while now. Three weeks ago we had an exciting week of Uutisraivaaja semifinal presentations and it was such a great feeling to finally pitch the idea and hear the reactions. It was also wonderful to see what other teams had come up with. Panic, excitement, happiness and many other feelings were going up and down on a roller coaster. After 12 fascinating ideas, it felt very relieving to hear that we had made it through to the finals.
The world that needs Little Brother is not always a pretty sight. Photo agencies and search engines paint a picture that is hopeless and gruesome. The same morbidness continues on our competitors visuals, see for example here and here. Going through the images was also a process of finding out, what we want to express with…
